The entry fee for all business, commercial and political campaign units is $40.00, paid online when the registration application is submitted. Rules are subject to change according to City of Seguin guidelines.
Parade confirmations are sent by email approximately the week of the parade. After the parade, participants are invited to enjoy other fairgrounds activities — Play Day, the barnyard, the rodeo and the exhibits.

How the morning runs
Line-up & staging
Information and parade positions are available beginning at 8:00 AM at Seguin High School, off the 1200 block of College Street. All entries should be in line by 8:30 AM. Late arrivals may not be permitted to participate and will not be judged.
No vehicles other than official parade entries are allowed in the staging area. Parents and sponsors should drop participants off at the intersection nearest their assigned entry — parade volunteers will be available to assist.
Judging & awards
Judging begins promptly at 8:30 AM. All entries must be completely decorated, assembled and ready for judging with participants in place before judging begins.
Winners receive their awards at the announcer stand located at Central Park.
Where the parade ends
Because of the high traffic volume at the end of the route, all motorized floats, vehicles and horse units continue down Austin Street and enter the turning lane at the parking lot for The Wave Pool and Baseball Fields — enough room to unload participants safely and dismantle entries if necessary.
All walking participants continue onto Nelda Street and finish in the Coliseum grass parking area. Do not stop your walking group until you are inside the designated parking area. Riders may not be released on the street.
Participation requirements
- Registration and waiver forms received by the deadline
- Entries must indicate their overall length
- All vehicles and animals must be decorated
- Proof of negative Coggins tests required for equine entries
- All parade rules must be followed

- Music must be family-friendly and at a reasonable volume as determined by parade officials.

Remember that not every entry can be first in the parade or near the front of the line-up. Thank you for your cooperation.
