Step into a realm where handmade creations take center stage. Each exhibitor in the Home Arts Division receives one free exhibitor’s pass for each entry.
All entries are accepted on a merit basis and must remain in the Exhibit Hall until Sunday, October 11. All decisions of the judges are final.

What you can enter
Complete class lists for every department are in the Fair Guide.
Antique & Vintage
1970 and older — books, pictures, china and crockery, glassware, kitchen articles, household items and more. Chairman: Iris & Tracy Clingingsmith, 830-557-2502.
Art
Original work across media, judged by division.
Baked Foods
Breads, cakes, pies, cookies and candies — plus the Saturday Desserts on Display showcase.
Clothing
Sewn and constructed garments, made and finished by the exhibitor.
Crafts
Handmade craft work of all kinds.
Canning
Canning and pickling — jams, jellies, preserves, relishes and pickles.
Handwork
Embroidery, crochet, knitting, quilting and needlework.
Ornamental Horticulture
Potted plants, cut flowers and arrangements — delivered Thursday morning.
Photography
Prints across all divisions, adult through preschool.
Pumpkin Decorating
The seasonal contest — a favourite with younger exhibitors.
General rules
- All items, with the exception of antiques, must be made by the exhibitor and completely finished.
- All entries, except cut flowers, must be in the Exhibition Hall between 2:00 and 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 7. All cut flowers and arrangements must be in the Coliseum between 8:00 and 9:00 AM on Thursday, October 8.
- The Fair will exercise due care of all exhibits, but in no case will it be responsible for loss or damage.
- Articles which are soiled or unfit for exhibition will not be accepted.
- No article may be entered in more than one department.
- All arrangements of exhibits are under the control of the department chairman, and no one may remove them until the exhibition is closed. Items are returned on presentation of the duplicate entry tag.
- Items must be picked up Sunday, October 11, between 4:00 and 5:30 PM. Anything not picked up will be disposed of at the discretion of the chairman.
- Items entered in previous years will not be accepted.
There are no exceptions to the pick-up window. Please plan to collect your entries Sunday afternoon between 4:00 and 5:30 PM.
Ribbons
Tri-Color for department Grand Champion; blue for 1st, red for 2nd, white for 3rd.
